Importing Subway Alignments from Shapefiles

Save time and effort in your subway system planning!

Directly importing tunnel alignments into DeepEX is a critical feature for engineers and companies involved in the planning of subway systems. This functionality significantly streamlines the workflow, saving considerable time and effort by eliminating the need for manual data entry and reducing the potential for errors. By leveraging this capability, professionals can quickly incorporate detailed subway alignments into their projects, allowing for more efficient planning, analysis, and optimization of metro infrastructure.

In the next video you can see how to add metro alignments from a shapefile in DeepEX software:

Shapefiles are versatile file formats used to store both the location and details of various geographic features, including points, lines, or areas. These files often include additional data stored in database tables within the workspace, enriching the spatial information for analysis.

In DeepEX software, importing subway alignments directly from shapefiles is straightforward. Follow these steps:

1. Search for Shapefiles: Use your browser to find existing shapefiles of subway lines.
