How can I add more than 2 walls in a DeepEX 2D section model?

DeepEX software allows you to generate, analyze and design any common deep excavation wall and support system.

To add more than two walls in a DeepEX 2D section model, follow these steps:

1. In the interactive DeepEX model area, select to add a right wall directly and edit its properties.

2. After adding the right wall, a button labeled "Del right wall" will appear, accompanied by a small arrow next to it.

3. Click on the arrow next to "Del right wall," and a menu will appear allowing you to add a wall to the right (as many as needed) or delete the rightmost wall.

Please note the following considerations when using multiple walls:

Maintain the order of walls: New walls are typically added to the right of each other. When editing the Xwall coordinate (the coordinate of the leftmost top point of each wall), ensure that you use x > from the Xwall of the left wall. Do not attempt to add a wall and then move it to the left of an existing wall.

Different locations for main walls: Two main walls cannot exist on the same X coordinate; they should be distinct from each other, positioned in different locations. If you need to change the wall section with depth or have a temporary main wall followed by a different permanent one, utilize the "Additional Wall Element" tool in the program.

Analysis methods: The classical Limit Equilibrium method (and the Finite Element method with the FEM additional module) can be used for designing more than two walls in the same Design Section. However, the Non-Linear analysis engine is developed for models with up to two walls in the same design section. If you need to analyze a model with NL analysis containing more walls, you must divide it into multiple parts, each consisting of up to two walls.

Surface and water elevation options: In the general tab of the program, the options "Left," "Center," and "Right" refer to the leftmost area, the area between the first two walls, and the area on the right side of the second wall, respectively. If you have more than two walls and need to edit the surface and water table elevations for each stage, you can drag-and-drop them with the mouse.
