A recent thank you from a DeepEX - DeepXcav user!
We were really surprised when a few days ago (Oct/10/2014) we received a surprise letter from one of our DeepEX - DeepXcav users and friends. This small gift, and sign of gratitude was one of the most rewarding letters we ever got. Thank you John from Portland, OR for this gift it really touched everybody at Deep Excavation!
The note reads:

The full story
Two years ago, I got a lead at a conference in San Antonio for me to pay a visit to an engineer in Portland and pitch my products. My next stop was Seattle for a couple of weeks and it was my first visit to Portland. It was a six hour visit but the timing was perfect. I managed to get three presentations in different companies in 6 hours. Every time I approach a presentation, I believe that we are offering an exceptional service that will truly help our customers. I do not see our products as simple package but rather as a solution that changes how we go about doing business.
With this belief, I met John and in about one hour and a half went over what we had to offer. Geotechnical engineers are a tough bargain to convince given the conservatism in the industry. John purchased our software program over the next few days and I was very happy that two out of the three visits resulted in a sale.
As it is the case with any product, John needed our help. As with any customer, we went out of our way to help John when he had questions. We never considered John (or any John) a cash cow. John renewed his licenses with every product release, but most importantly we established trust, and John understood our efforts to help him!
Then, last week we got an unexpected gift check from John expressing his gratitude. The yellow sticky note was the most valuable! It gave me chills, it was most rewarding:
